Director Gale Edwards and Scenic Designer Brian Sidney Bambridge explain their beautiful design concept in this youtube video:
I really enjoyed this production, I laughed so much during the first half that I got compliments from some people at intermission and even a glare from one grumpy theater goer, and during the second half I found tears running down my cheeks more that once.
I have always had a special attachment to Romeo and Juliet. Juliet was my first big role with the Riverwalk Actors, theater company I created when I was thirteen.
Have you seen CST's Romeo and Juliet? Is there another production you have enjoyed? Is there a role or play that is particularly special to you?
