Fighting is one of the delicate dances of theater. You don't want your actors getting hurt, but you want the fight to look real. And you don't want just a couple guys fake punching each other back and forth. You want drama. You want the fight to tell a story.
Watching the fight scenes is always one of my favorite parts during a show. I love the drama of the moment and the artistry it takes both on the part of the choreographer and the actors to make it look like the punches and kicks connect, often without the actors even touching each other.
So, now my question to all of you (since now, according to our statistics page, over 200 people visit this blog every day, someone must know someone) can anyone recommend a fight choreographer?
Also, even if you don't know somebody, please answer the question in the post previous to this and tell me what your favorite part of Romeo and Juliet or The Scottish Play or Hamlet or Midsummer is.
Stay tuned! More excitement on the way!
