As I move on to the MLitt in Shakespeare and Performance Program at Mary Baldwin in Staunton, VA, Ashely will be carrying the torch and bringing Storefront Shakespeare into a new era.
I will continue to blog and I will keep you all updated about all the cool things I learn at Mary Baldwin.

Hamlet opens tonight! It has been a long road, but now you get to come and see the result, I am very excited. This will be my last show with Storefront Shakespeare for a whle because I am going to grad school at Mary Baldwin in Virginia  in their Shakespeare and Performance program! I will continue to write this blog and keep you all updated on what I am learning.
At first Eddy McGrady was going to be taking over when I left, but life changes have changed our plans and the perfect person to take my place came into my life when we started to work on Hamlet.

I am proud to announce that Ashely Hessefort, a soon to be graduating Theater/English double major at NIU willbe the new Artistic Director of Storefront Shakespeare!

More news on that soon. If you want to meet her, come see Hamlet, we'll both be there.

On a side note, our Ophelia, Colleen Lynch, is unwell and unable to perform at the moment, so I will be playing Ophelia, come see me!
